CIC LIBRARY

To support the new normal in the educational system, the CIC Library is proactively launching the following online programs and services that CIC learners, teachers, office staff and other stakeholders may avail of during educational interruptions like the COVID-19 pandemic. These programs and services may be part of the regular programs and services of the Library even after the pandemic once become successful and effective.

 #AskVIA Program

VIA which stands for Virtual Information Assistant is a virtual librarian that will answer online queries and will provide online services that could be helpful to the students, teachers and other stakeholders of CIC during the implementation of the CIC’s  home-based alternative learning program (known as CIC EduModu) amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

EBSCO Information Services

EBSCO is the leading provider of research database, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service to libraries of all kinds. It is also an intuitive online research platform used by thousands of institutions and millions of users worldwide. With quality databases and search features, EBSCOhost helps researchers of all kinds find the information they need fast.

Here are the instructions to access EBSCO:

CIC Library Online Leksyon

Simultaneously on the opening of classes, the CIC Library will be launching the CIC L.O.L. (CIC Library Online Leksyon). It is a web series of educational shows that will be posted on the FB page of the CIC Preschool and Grade School Library every Monday, 10:00 a.m. The shows that will be featured are aligned with the lessons of selected grade levels. These videos can also be used by the teachers as supplementary materials for the CIC EduModu KIT. The Library will also conduct other online programs such as online storytelling, online library instruction program, online workshops, etc.
