The Preschool Department of the College of the Immaculate Conception aims to develop its learners holistically through realizing the following objectives:

  1. Build the values of Christian discipleship through Christ-centered activities;

  2. Provide opportunities for learning by doing, for both indirect and direct acquisition of new knowledge and skills;

  3. Equip the learners with the ideal competencies to address the needs in the community;

  4. Instill the spirit of nationalism by promoting our rich cultural heritage and history;

  5. Foster collaborative and participative mechanism in building a harmonious community.

Early beginning reading is encouraged in these early years of development. Lessons are planned to encourage discovery and independence. Most importantly, it is where we begin to teach young children how to pray and do good things for their family, friends, and to other people in the community. These can be acquired in teaching different subjects from Nursery level to Kindergarten level.
