CIC Institute of Higher Studies Celebrates Achievements of BLEPT Passers 2023

In a special tribute
held on January 21, 2024, at the CIC Chapel, the Institute of Higher Studies (IHS) extended its heartfelt praise and recognition to the accomplished passers of the 2023 Board Licensure Examination for Teachers (BLEPT)
Thirty-one (31) new teachers,
consisting of Six (6) Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and twenty-five (25) Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) were honored during the event.
Our Speakers
The CIC president, Rev. Fr. Joseph B. Azarcon commended both the successful examinees and the dedicated faculty members who played a crucial role in their success. He urged the newly licensed teachers to embody the values of CIC, aspiring to be globally competitive and morally upright individuals in their respective fields. Fr. Azarcon expressed his anticipation for these board passers to become leaders in their professions and encouraged them to continue their journey of professional growth.
Dr. Henrietta DG. Torralba, the Dean of Graduate School, praised the outstanding performance of the honorees. She acknowledged the collective efforts of parents, faculty, and staff at CIC, expressing her hope that the newly licensed professionals would confidently face the uncertainties of the world, armed with the determination to triumph. Dr. Torralba reminded them to live in truth, pursue excellence, and serve their fellowmen.
During the tribute, Mr. Calvin Jay Chua, and Mr. Sir Patrick Vindel Cruz shared their personal experiences, struggles, and techniques that helped them overcome the challenges of the examination. They encouraged the audience to fortify their aspirations with faith, to enable them to withstand life's upheavals and remain faithful to their goals. Expressing gratitude to their parents, teachers, and peers for their unwavering support during challenging times, Chua and Cruz inspired the aspiring educators.

Certificates of recognition were awarded by Rev. Fr. Joseph B. Azarcon, Dr. Henrietta Torralba, and Ms. Anna Lissa B. Antonio. The program, attended by CIC faculty members, concluded with a collective congratulatory message to the new teachers. Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance have indeed paid off, proving that success is earned through unwavering effort and commitment.
