BACHELOR OF ARTS IN COMMUNICATION
The Bachelor of Arts in Communication program develops students’ ability to effectively communicate in a variety of contexts, preparing them to become competent and responsible communication professionals in a rapidly evolving media landscape. It equips students with a strong foundation in verbal, written, and visual communication, while emphasizing the growing importance of digital media, technology, and global connectivity in today’s society.

Through comprehensive coursework in media studies, journalism, public relations, advertising, interpersonal communication, speech communication, broadcasting, and digital communication, students learn how to create, analyze, and disseminate information across diverse platforms and audiences. The program also enhances critical thinking, creativity, research skills, and ethical decision-making, enabling students to communicate messages that are impactful, accurate, and socially responsible.



Students gain practical experience through hands-on training in content creation, multimedia production, social media management, campaign development, public speaking, and strategic communication planning, preparing them to adapt to the demands of both traditional and emerging media industries.

This program prepares graduates for dynamic careers in a wide range of communication-focused fields, including journalism, broadcasting, public relations, corporate communication, advertising, digital marketing, media production, content creation, event management, and communication consultancy. It also provides a strong foundation for further studies in communication, media, law, education, and related disciplines.

With the Bachelor of Arts in Communication, students are empowered to become effective storytellers, innovative media practitioners, and influential communicators capable of shaping conversations and making meaningful contributions in local and global communities.

PINOY MEDIA CONGRESS

The BA Communication students attended the Pinoy Media Congress 2026, where they had the opportunity to learn from media professionals and industry experts. During the two-day event, the students listened to inspiring talks, shared ideas, and explored the latest trends in media and communication. This experience helped them better understand the real world of media and the responsibilities that come with it.
Guided by our commitment to excellence, we aim to form communicators who are not only skilled but also responsible and ready to serve the community.


CIC Communication Arts students attended the prestigious Pinoy Media Congress (PMC), the largest and longest-running annual gathering of communication students, educators, media experts, and practitioners in the Philippines, held at the University of Makati on April 23-24, 2015.
The two-day program offered insightful sessions across the extensive field of media, with topics ranging from radio broadcasting and hosting to film restoration, content creation, and film production.
PARA GALA CENTRAL LUZON MEDIA AWARDS

CIC B.A. Communication students attended the 11th Paragala Awards Night at Holy Angel University in Angeles City, Pampanga on December 6, 2024. PARAGALA, a premier student-run award-giving body, annually honors outstanding media personalities and organizations in the Philippines.
